TERMS AND CONDITIONS - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

DEPOSITS/PAYMENTS: : $350 per person deposit is due at the time of booking for most tours. $500 per person for European River Cruises and escorted Ocean Cruises (some exceptions apply).

FINAL PAYMENT DUE: 75 Days prior to departure. AFC Vacations accepts Check, MasterCard, VISA, AMEX & Discover. To qualify for AFC’s cash early booking discount (when applicable), your final payment must be paid by check. Credit cards are accepted for initial deposit. If you choose to pay with credit card after the initial deposit, the cash early booking discount will not apply.

GUARANTEED PRICES: : Offer applies to AFC brochure featured land tours and European river cruises. AFC’s featured prices are based on the rates known at the time of printing. Once we have received your deposit with full booking details, your price is guaranteed and any subsequent price increase is at our expense. Changes, additions or adjustments to your travel package might adjust your final price.

CANCELLATION POLICY: The following refund schedule applies to all AFC brochure featured land tours (some exceptions apply). The AFC Travel Protection Plan will cover these penalties if you cancel for a covered reason.
Up to 180 days:   $100 per person penalty
179-76 days:       $250 per person penalty
75-60 days:         75% Refunded of Full Price
59-30 days:         50% Refunded of Full Price
29-15 days:         25% Refunded of Full Price
14 days or less:   No Refund

EUROPEAN RIVER CRUISE CANCELLATION POLICY: The following refund schedule applies to all AFC brochure featured European River Cruises. The AFC Travel Protection Plan will cover these penalties if you cancel for a covered reason.
Up to 180 days:   $200 per person penalty
179-90 days:       $350 per person penalty
89-60 days:         75% Refunded of Full Price
59-30 days:         50% Refunded of Full Price
29-15 days:         25% Refunded of Full Price
14 days or less:   No Refund

OCEAN CRUISE CANCELLATION POLICY: The following refund schedule applies to the July 28, 2023 Seattle, San Juan Islands & Alaska Cruise, and is similar for most other 7 night ocean cruises (varies by cruise).
Up to 180 days:   $100 per person penalty
179-91 days:       $250 per person penalty
90-76 days:         $500 per person penalty
75-61 days:         50% Refunded of Full Price
60-31 days:         25% Refunded of Full Price
30 days or less:   No Refund

AFC must be notified of all cancellations IN WRITING. Date of cancellation is considered to be the first business day that AFC receives this written notice. Name changes, transferring to a different tour or departure date are considered cancellations and are subject to AFC cancellation policies. AFC offers and strongly recommends travel protection/insurance

HOME PICKUP AIRPORT SERVICE is included with AFC tours, getaways, European River Cruises and air/sea cruises over $2,099 per person within 40 miles of your airport of choice. It is based on transferring you to and from your airport of choice listed in AFC Air Inclusive rates as an included feature if your airport of choice is within 40 miles. If your airport of choice is over 40 miles you have the choice of taking a Home Pick-Up Credit of $100 per person (credit applied on final payment invoice) or paying a $100 per person double supplement ($150 supplement for single traveler) if your airport is within 41-60 miles. Supplements over 60 miles would need to be quoted separately. Any Air Inclusive AFC traveler choosing not to take advantage of the included Home Pick-Up Airport Service can take the $100 per person credit as noted above. Passengers travelling land only and or doing their own air do not have the Home Pick-Up Service or the $100 credit included.
CHANGES, DEVIATIONS & EXTENSIONS: AFC is happy to assist you with any changes to our Land/Air packages. A $75 pp non-refundable change fee will be assessed for the initial change, deviation or extension, in addition to any other supplier charges. Home Pick-up does not apply when deviating from the published itinerary.

PASSPORTS: : All US citizens are REQUIRED to have a valid U.S. passport for ALL Cruises & International Tours. It is recommended your passport be valid for 6 months beyond your scheduled return date.

NOT INCLUDED IN THE TOUR PRICE: Airline baggage fees or seat assignment fees; items of a personal nature such as laundry; telephone, mini bar, alcohol, beverages & meals not included in the itinerary; gifts; optional excursions; travel protection/insurance; airline excess bag fee; passport, visa, & vaccination charges; tips to your tour manager, driver, local city guides, and cruise ship staff.

LAND ONLY: For passengers travelling “Land Only” or doing own airfare, the tour or cruise begins and ends at the first & last hotel or at the pier. Home pick-up is not included on Land Only packages. Hotel or Ship Transfers are available for purchase for most programs. Time constraints normally apply.

RESPONSIBILITY - AFC Vacations (hereafter AFC), whose vouchers are used by respective agents for the passenger in all matters pertaining to hotel accommodations, sightseeing tours and transportation, hold themselves free of responsibility for any damages occasioned from any cause whatsoever. AFC will not be responsible for any damages or inconvenience caused by late arrivals, departures and change of schedule or other conditions nor will they be responsible for any act, omission, or event during the time the passenger is not on board their conveyance. The passage contract in use by the airline concerned, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the airline and the purchaser of this tour/cruise, and/or passenger. AFC does not hold any responsibility for the conduct of any of its members, hotel, motorcoach, cruiseline, train, airline or other personnel. AFC reserves the right to decline to accept or retain any person as a member of a tour/cruise at its discretion. AFC &/or its Tour Manager retain the right to require any participant to withdraw from a tour/cruise at any time, if determined to be in the best interests of health, safety & general welfare of the tour/cruise group or of the individual participant. Arbitration - I/We agree, any and all disputes concerning this contract or any other material concerning the trip, or the trip itself must be resolved exclusively pursuant to binding arbitration in the state of California, pursuant to the then current rules of the American Arbitration Association. USTOA $1 Million Travelers Assistance Program AFC Vacations shares the coverage available under the USTOA $1 Million Travelers Assistance Program with affiliates of PWT, LLC, who, as an Active Member of the USTOA, is required to post $1 Million with USTOA to be used to reimburse, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the USTOA $1 Million Travelers Assistance Program, the advance payments of AFC Vacations customers in the unlikely event of AFC Vacations bankruptcy, insolvency or cessation of business. Further, you should understand that the $1 Million posted by PWT, LLC and shared among its affiliates may be sufficient to provide only a partial recovery of the advance payments received by AFC Vacations.
